He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Styer and Emily Styer (Crossley); and his brothers, Ralph, Leonard, Allen, Wilbur, Lloyd, Howard and Bruce.
He is survived by: his wife Naomi Gingrich Boyer Styer; his children, David (Naomi) of Hagerstown, MD and Joyce Hopkins (James) of Bonney Lake, WA; his stepdaughters, Cheryl Markle of Shermans Dale, PA and Cerise Sawyer (Frank) of Shermans Dale, PA.; his grandchildren, Elizabeth Styer, Deanna Hoffman, Bill Markle, Jared Sawyer and Sean Sawyer; and his siblings, Rachel Swartz, Hilda Kashner, Fred Styer and John Styer.
