It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Barbara Adams of Shinglehouse, Pennsylvania, born in Altoona, Pennsylvania, who passed away on October 21, 2020, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Fetzer and Goldie Croft Fetzer; and her siblings, Helen Atkinson, Ann Kirby, Florence Fetzer, Jack Fetzer and Jim Fetzer.
She is survived by: her husband Bernard E. "Bernie" Adams; her children, Pamela Foster (Ray) of Friendship, N. Y., Larry Adams (Tami) of Shinglehouse, Bernard E. "Bernie" Adams, Jr. (Deb) of Bolivar, N. Y., Amy Antonioli (Mike) of Port Richey and Jeffrey Adams (Beth) of Shinglehouse; and her sister Marlee Henry of Hollidaysburg. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; twenty-three great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandson.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions, funeral services will be held privately at the Virgil L. Howard Funeral Home, 118 South Union Street, Shinglehouse.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
