He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul O. Woodard and Virginia M. Wilson Woodard; and his siblings, Connie Breeding, Robert Woodard, Frank Woodard and Penny Monk.
He is survived by: his wife Deborah J. "Deb" Wood; his children, Mark Woodard of New Columbia, Keith Woodard of Dewart and Jennifer Woodard (Karl Tietz) of Farmington, Minnesota; his grandson Keegan Tietz of Farmington; his siblings, Clarence Woodard (Marilyn) of Columbia Crossroads, Leonard Woodard (Lois) of Middlebury, Pearl Smith of Liberty, Theresa Ellison (Charles) of Maryland, Clifford Woodard (Jan) of Cadiz, Isa Woodard (Dan Weatherford) of Mesa, Ida Woodard of Elmira, N. Y. and Pamela Woodard of Blossburg; his nephew Frank Woodard (Theresa) of Millerstown; and his niece Sue Hancock (Tom) of Middlebury.
