It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Robert Buchsenschutz of Shinglehouse, Pennsylvania, born in Coudersport, Pennsylvania, who passed away on December 6, 2020, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his mother Frances Buchsenschutz; the mother of his children Joyce Moore of Port Allegany; his children, Pamela J. Burrows (Herm) of Shinglehouse, Michael A. Buchsenschutz (Lori) of Woodstock, James A. Buchsenschutz (Cathy) of Port Allegany, Daniel L. Buchsenschutz of Sharon, William F. Buchsenschutz (Tonya) of Port Allegany and David E. Buchsenschutz of Smethport; and his sisters, Dorothy Salyers of Seneca Falls, N. Y., Cheryl Maynard of North Carolina and Doris Merriam of North Carolina. He was also cherished by fifteen grandchildren; twenty-six great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandson; a great-great-granddaughter.
In addition to his mother, Bucky was predeceased by his second wife, Shelia Buchsenschutz; and a son, Robert L. Buchsenschutz, Jr. Due to current COVID-19 restrictions, a celebration of life will be held at a date, place, and time to be announced.
