Jacquelyn B. Hoover Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Jacquelyn B. Hoover (Shippensburg, Pennsylvania), born in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 18, 2025 at the age of 87. She was predeceased by: her parents, Benjamin Walter Brechbiel and Thelma Wenger Brechbiel. She is survived by: her husband Alan R. Hoover; her son Joseph Hoover (Christy) of New Cumberland; and her grandchildren, Ann Baker (Don) of Chambersburg, Linda Husted (Craig) of Lancaster, Julie Harnish (Joel Thevoz) of Annapolis, Maryland., Daniel Baker (Ali), Kara Baker (Zach Beaver), Morgan Husted, Taylor Husted (Oscar Fonseca), Grant Husted, Maggie Hoover (Richard Fuentes), Cameron Harnish (Aida), Cole Harnish, Jade Harnish and Quinn Harnish. She is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, November 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Shippensburg Covenant Brethren Church (253 E Garfield St, Shippensburg, PA 17257).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Shippensburg Covenant Brethren Church, 253 E. Garfield Street, Shippensburg, PA 17257.
