He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl O. and Zelma E. Taylor (Kline); and his brother William Taylor. He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Kay Taylor; his children, Debra (Richard Golden) of Odessa, FL and Jeffrey Taylor of Denver, CO; and his grandchildren, Charley Golden, Riley Golden, Benjamin Taylor, Nathan Taylor, Anna Taylor and Lauren Taylor.
In honor of Jim's longstanding dedication to K–12 education, the family kindly requests that, in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be directed to the Chambersburg Area Education Foundation in support of the James R. Taylor Memorial Scholarship.
