With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John Lindsay Jr. of Shippensburg, Pennsylvania, who passed away on October 4, 2025 at the age of 83. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of John Lindsay Jr. to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, H. John Lindsay, and Bertha Marie Lindsay, Sr. (Hardy); his wife Kathryn E. (Mixell); and his siblings, Harry Donald, Dorothy Louise, Betty Jane, Frederick Leroy and James Edward.
He is survived by: his children, Kirk E. Lindsay of Harrisburg and Monica Bitner (Donald) of Orrstown. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Viewing will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home and Crematorium, Inc. (112 W King St, Shippensburg, PA 17257). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 at the Cumberland Valley Memorial Gardens (1921 Ritner Hwy, Carlisle, PA 17013).
