We are sad to announce that on February 17, 2024 we had to say goodbye to Linda Gail Hunt of Shippensburg, Pennsylvania, born in Bennington, Vermont. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by : her parents, Lewis George and Gertrude Elizabeth Monroe (Carpenter); her grandchild Alexx Guertin; her husband James E Hunt; and her brothers, Sonny (Lewis Jr) and David.
She is survived by : her daughters, Melinda Bowen (Don) of Shaftsbury, VT, Julie Hunt-Dague (David) of Upper Strasburg, PA, Stacy Scott (Jason) of St. Augustine, FL and Amy Surdam (Steve) of White Creek, NY; her grandchildren, Kaiyla Doyle (Chris Doyle), Stephen Surdam, Tianna Reed (Tyler), Sabrina, Nathaniel Aiken, Ashley, Michaela Bowen and April Clyde; her great grandchildren, Abigail, Hailey Doyle, Sawyer Surdam-Crawford, Everleigh Surdam, Blake, Amelia and Addison Reed; and her brother Donald Monroe. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude's Children Hospital in her memory.
