We bid farewell to Margaret Schmader of Shippenville, Pennsylvania, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on May 23, 2026 at the age of 83. Margaret touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Edgar Edmonds and Bertha McKinney Edmonds; her husband Richard J. Schmader; and her daughter Kimberly Ann Schmader. She is survived by: her children, Richard L. Schmader (Susan) of Strattanville, John J. Schmader (Kristen) of Weedville, Cheryl Oakes (Michael) of Rouseville, Jessica Burns (Alex) of Strattanville, Lisa Stromyer (Matthew) of Strattanville and Michael Schmader (Tabetha) of Shippenville. She is also survived by 27 grandchildren and 42 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 26th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Faller/Rupert Funeral Home and Cremation Service (19200 PA-208, Fryburg, PA 16326). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 27th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
Memorial contributions may be given in the name of Margaret Donna Schmader to the police and first responders of choice.
