He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred D. Adam and Annie S. Adam (Adam); and his siblings, Alfred, Paul, Herman, Ethel, Ruth, Harold, Carl and Roy.
He is survived by: his wife Mabel I. Adam (Marderness); his children, Mark (Dianne), Lucille (Thomas Beltz), Dorothy (Terry Boltz), Alfred (Mary Lynne), Glenn (Shirley) and Larry; and his grandchildren, Valerie (Kirk), Sherry (Eric), Joshua (Amanda), Shelly (Scott), Robbie (Jennifer), James (Devin), Christopher, Brad and Rebecca (Dan). He is also survived by ten great grandchildren.
