It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sonja Richie of Shoemakersville, Pennsylvania, born in Lewistown, Pennsylvania, who passed away on September 4, 2023, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Clair Thomas and Charlotte Coldren; her husband Carl; and her siblings, Joyce, Peggy, Jean, Connie, Sam and Larry.
She is survived by: her sons, Bill (Karen) of Mechanicsburg, PA, Bob (Wanda) of Landisville, PA and Frank (Dee) of Dumfries, VA.; her grandchildren, Jennifer Smith, Brad Richie, Christopher Greenawalt, Amanda Miller and Bryan Richie; her great grandchildren, Lily, Becky, Carter, Charlotte, Cameron, Owen and Elliot; and her sister Sharon of Milroy, PA. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
