Karen A. Brown Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Karen A. Brown of Shrewsbury, Pennsylvania, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 21, 2025 at the age of 68. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William J. Martin, Sr. and Doris M. Martin (Burns); and her brother Rodney Martin. She is survived by: her husband Richard J. Brown; her son Richard H. Brown (Nicole); her grandchildren, Ava, Sean and Jaiden; her daughter Lauren E. Watson (Marshall); her grandchildren, Owen, Rylee and Cora; and her brothers, William Martin Jr., Ronald Martin and Jeffery Martin. She is also survived by six grandchildren.
Viewing was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, September 27th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A prayer was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 at 6:30 PM at the Hartenstein Funeral & Cremation Care, Inc. (24 N 2nd St, New Freedom, PA 17349). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, September 27th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. John the Baptist Catholic Church (315 N Constitution Ave, New Freedom, PA 17349).
