He was predeceased by: his parents, George L. Ball and Grace Snyder; and his wife Enid J. Whiting Ball. He is survived by: his children, Judy Armanini (Frank) of Emporium, Virginia Schager (Judd) of Emporium, Danny Ball (Judy) of Sinnamahoning and James Ball (Diana) of Sinnamahoning; and his sister Marie Ramarge (Jim). He is also survived by ten grandchildren; several great grandchildren.
