He was predeceased by: his wife Elaine F. Rowlands (Fenstermacher); his parents, William G. Rowlands and Ella Rowlands (Evans); and his siblings, William, Quentin, Donald, Robert Rowlands and Kathleen Kreitz.
He is survived by: his daughters, Susan E. Benninger (Wayne) of Northampton and Janice M. Sears of Northampton; and his grandchildren, Jeremy Dogmanits, Jill Dogmanits, Brad Benninger and Ryan Benninger. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Luke's Hospice and/or The United Presbyterian Church of Slatington both in care of the funeral home, P.O. Box #196, Schnecksville, PA 18078-0196.
