Joseph E. Matalik Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joseph E. Matalik of Slovan, Pennsylvania, who passed away on October 6, 2025, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Joseph departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Joseph may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Joseph leaves behind.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Joseph Matalik and Mary Wozniak Matalik; and his siblings, Mary Ann LaQuatra of McDonald, Mike Matalik of Texas, George, Steve and John Matalik.
The inurnment will be held on Monday, October 27th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies (1158 Morgan Rd, Bridgeville, PA 15017).
