The passing of Scott J. Shoemaker of Slovan, Pennsylvania leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on July 9, 2025 at the age of 62. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Scott shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Scott farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He is survived by: his parents, Fred Shoemaker and Judith Shoemaker; his girlfriend Kimberly Chirico; and his sisters, Michele Jakiel (Bob), Lori Hoffman (Charlie), Jill Shoemaker and Susan Shoemaker (David Elkins). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, September 5th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Jefferson Memorial Cemetery (401 Curry Hollow Rd, Pittsburgh, PA 15236). Due to continuing construction on Curry Hollow Rd., please add an extra 15-20 minutes to your travel time for traffic congestion.
