With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Raymond P. Burlingame of Smethport, Pennsylvania, born in Round Lake, Minnesota, who passed away on February 14, 2024 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Homer Burlingame and Gladys Schmaus Burlingame. He is survived by : his wife Genevieve Burlingame of Smethport; his children, Linda Torres of Fort Lauderdale, FL, John Sheffer of Smethport, Tim Sheffer (Dianne) of Eldred and Bill Sheffer (Ruby) of Portville, NY; his sister Elaine Nelson (Larry) of Albuquerque, NM; and his grandchildren, William Michael Sheffer, Jordyn Taylor Sheffer of Timothy and Kiesha "Angel" Sheffer. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
