He was predeceased by : his father Jim; and his brothers, Tim B. Holt and David Holt, Jr.. He is survived by : his children, Lawrence William Holt, Jacob David Holt of Smithfield and Bailey Dawn Holt of Smithfield; his wife Amy Bryner Holt of Smithfield; his brother Lawrence Holt of Smithfield; and his parents-in-law, Bill and Gwen Bryner of Dunbar. He is also survived by brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Due to the current national COVID-19 virus restrictions, visitation and funeral services are private.
