Frederick Nelson Schwenk Jr. Obituary

We are sad to announce that on August 8, 2023, at the age of 84, Frederick Nelson Schwenk Jr. of Souderton, Pennsylvania, born in East Greenville, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick Sr. Schwenk and Irene Schwenk (Gehris); his daughter Karen Ann Salmanson; his brother David Schwenk; his brother-in-law Richard Long; his niece Alyson Schwenk; and his nephew Dean Long.

He is survived by: his wife Betty Schwenk (Reitnauer); his daughters, Gretchen Ann (Tim Martin) of Myersville, MD, Melissa Ann (David Weinstein) of East Greenville and Stephanie Ann (Clay Washington) of Coatesville; his son-in-law Josh Salmanson of Ashburn, VA; his grandchildren, Chelsea Sahar (Etay), Jocelin (Phillip Kyle), Morgan, Nathan Weinstein, Samuel Glushakow, Jacob and Joshua Salmanson; his stepgrandchildren, Lindsay Via and Adam Martin; his great grandchildren, Leo, Ari Sahar and Jonah Kyle; his stepgreat-grandsons, Luke, Dylan and Caleb Via; his sisters, Grace Long of Red Hill and Barbara (Michael Bartholomew) of Boyertown; and his sister-in-law Maryann Schwenk of Coopersburg. He is also survived by nine nieces and five nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to the Trinity Lutheran Church Education Fund, 19 S. Fifth St, Perkasie, PA 18944.
