He is survived by: his spouse Doreen Stabene (Merkel); his parent Lucy Stabene (Santora); his children, Lucy Stabene, Joseph A. Stabene, Jr., Amanda Stabene and Theresa Stabene; his grandchildren, Savannah Bishop, Liam Linke, Nicholas Stabene and Sebastian Stabene; and his sister Rose Haynes.
