He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Shaheen and Celia Shaheen (Haje); and his brother Donald Shaheen. He is survived by: his wife Louise Shaheen (Jacques); his children, Shelley Shaheen of East Norriton, Nancy Shaheen (Joe) of Enola, PA, Laurence C. Shaheen, Jr. (Linda) of Phoenixville and Lynne Watt of Collegeville; and his stepchildren, Sharon Herzog of Colmar and Stephen Herzog (Karen) of Rixeyville, VA. He is also survived by grandchildren; and a large extended family.
