He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilmer Althouse and Martha Histand Althouse; and his sister Helen Rutt (Clarence). He is survived by: his wife Blanche Godshalk; his children, Rose Moyer (Bob), Susan Swartz (Ted), Bev Alderfer (Dwight), Jim Althouse (Kat Landis) and Carolyn Bergey (Norm); his grandchildren, Eliot Swartz (Katrina), Lorinda Moyer, Ian Swartz (Hannah Johnson), Evan Moyer, Derek Reiff-Swartz (Chelsea), Scott Bergey (Katie Fee), Dietrich Alderfer (Katie Neer), Samuel Bergey, Lydia Alderfer, Dillon Althouse and Michaela Althouse; his great grandchildren, Mona Swartz, Hattie Swartz, Josie Johnson-Swartz and Ezra Reiff-Swartz; and his siblings, Marie Stoltzfus (Victor) and Wayne Althouse (late Janice).
