He is survived by : his children, Marilee Mulvey (Dennis) of Factoryville, John, Jr. (Mary Straka) of South Abington, Michael (Ann Summa) of East Stroudsburg and David (Rachel) of Scranton; his grandchildren, Max, Zoe, Christopher, Jordyn and Taylor; his great grandchildren, Amelia, Delilah and Julian; his sister Theresa Menik (Joseph) of Edwardsville; and his brother-in-law Matthew Batroney (Carol) of Kingston. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, May 22nd 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Lawrence E. Young Funeral Home (418 S State St, Clarks Summit, PA 18411). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, May 23rd 2024 at 9:30 AM at the Our Lady of the Snows Church (301 S State St, Clarks Summit, PA 18411).
