He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Shirley Mae Kotz (Thomas); his children, Deborah Pusateri (Michael), Stephen "Skippy" Kotz, Jr. and Thomas Kotz; his daughter-in-law Sherry Kotz; and his siblings, Rosemarie Scabilloni (late Pete), Priscilla North (Richard), Mary Hahn (late John), Tony "Bones" Kotz, Frank "Butchie" Kotz, Diane "Cookie" Nagel and Christine.
