He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Colyar and Catherine Colyar. He is survived by: his wife Joan "Cissy" Colyar; and his children, Jack Jr. (Brenda), Donna Callahan (Don), Colleen Devlin (John), Kathleen Piontek (Carl), Gary (Kelly) and Laura Riffe (Tom). He is also survived by 6 siblings.
