He is survived by: his parents, Homer Strong and Mabel Strong (Toggweiler); his spouse Evelyn Ruth (Downey); his children, David R. Strong of Fairfax, VA, Eric N. Strong (Shirley Park) of Palo Alto, CA and Emily R. Strong of Alexandria, VA.; and his grandchildren, Bennett and Julianna.

In lieu of flowers, donations to St. John's United Methodist Church, 820 Almshouse Road, Ivyland, PA 18974 would be appreciated by his family.
