He was predeceased by: his wife Sylvia; and his grandson Daniel (Tammra). He is survived by: his children, Shelia Banner (Ronald), Lynn Karpo Lantz (Aron) and Alan Karpo (Shari); and his grandchildren, David (Amanda), Sarah (Adam), Jason (Yael), Saul (Marion), Reena (Jason) and Brandon (Buddi). He is also survived by 16 great-grandchildren.
