He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Kathryn Gardner (Leahy) and Frank Gardner; his wife Anne; his children, Deborah Macdonald (Niel), William (Christine Dwyer Nelson), Glenn A. (Bonnie), Mark G. (Norma Jean) and Gregory S.; his grandchildren, Glenn, James (Tiffany), Maria Gartlan (Thomas), Melissa Ward, Raeanne Gardner, Hannah Jansons (Mic) and Jillian Gardner; and his great grandchildren, Liam Ward, James Gardner, Hailey Marie Gartlan and Talon Jansons.

The Gardner family has requested donation in Bill's name be made to Holy Redeemer Hospice Care, 1648 Huntingdon Pike, Meadowbrook, PA 19046 or holyredeemer.com.
