He was predeceased by: his parent Gordon R. Rickeard; and his siblings, Paul Rickeard, Mark Rickeard and Jean Rickeard. He is survived by: his parent Caroline R. Rickeard (McClosky); his spouse Dianne L. Hess; his daughter April D. Rickeard; his sister Nancy Rickeard of Erie, PA; and his niece Penny Kaiser (Swope). He is also survived by other nieces and nephews.
