He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Louise Poissant (Roche); his parents, Adrien Poissant and Bernadette Poissant (Nadeau); and his sisters, Adrienne Currier and Jeanne Wood.
He is survived by: his brother Raymond; his children, Adrienne (Thomas Kane), Maurice Jr. (Cecilia), Matthew (Mary Ellen), Paul (Kathryn) and Anne (Raymond Prokop); and his grandchildren, Jeannine, Marielle (Charles Kane), Nicole (Michael Poissant Adrienne), Katherine (Sarah Poissant), Amy (John Poissant) and Zachary (Rose Prokop).
