He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Anna, Frank Sundo, Francis and William Whelan. He is survived by: his parents, Michael P. Whelan and Rita Jean Whelan; his siblings, Michael D. (Nicole) and Gianna E. (Joseph); his son Jackson; and his siblings' child Keira. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, and his beloved cats.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made to help with, Nick's son, Jackson's future.
