He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Katherine Bruce and Joseph Bruce; his children, Wendy Joachim (Gregory) and Jeffrey Bruce (Susan); and his grandchildren, Owen Joachim, Molly Joachim, Mitchell Bruce and Emma Bruce. He was also cherished by extended family and many friends.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made in Robert's honor to the Riddle Hospital Physical Therapy department where he spent many volunteer years.
