In the vast expanse of eternity, George shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid George farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Zimmerman and Edna Zimmerman (Hamer); his wife Minnie Zimmerman (Burfield); and his son Scott Zimmerman. He is survived by: his close friend Connie Iddings of Spruce Creek; and his children, Donald Braxton (Sarah) of Huntingdon and Lisa Minter (Dante) of Davenport.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Don Attended the Spruce Creek United Methodist Church (4938 Spruce Creek Rd, Spruce Creek, PA 16683).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Humane Society of Huntingdon County.
