She was predeceased by: her husband Conrad Nelson; her brothers, Galen Boyer (Jennie) and John "Jack" Boyer (Donna); and also, Charles and Hilda Boyer (Dick).

She is survived by: her brother Chester Boyer (Coni) of Alexandria; her children, Conrad Nelson-Godère of Switzerland, Stephan Nelson (Trudy) of Spruce Creek, Lisa Mahon (Terrance) of Tennessee and Linda Struble (Ed) of State College; and her grandchildren, Sean, Stephen Nelson, Leah Struble, Tyler, Erica, Alyssa and Tara Mahon.
