He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerald Edwin and Lora May George Gifford; his wife Lola; his son Roger Lynn Gifford; and his siblings, Ruth Ann Gifford, Nona Swiss, Durwood Gifford, Darold Gifford and Wayne Gifford.
He is survived by: his children, Alan Gifford (Susan) of McKees Rocks, PA, Sharon Gifford of State College, PA and William Gifford (Mary Alice) of Sugar Land, TX; his grandchildren, David, Leanne and Austin; his great grandchildren, Nicolas and Eli; his siblings, Larry Gifford (Muriel) of Demotte, IN and Loretta Padget of Rensselaer, IN; and his sister-in-law Betty Gifford of Rensselaer, IN. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
