It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elvera Bernice Lockwitz (State College, Pennsylvania), born in Saint Joseph, Michigan, who passed away on December 11, 2018, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She is survived by: her spouse Richard E. Bitner; and her sons, Richard E. Bitner, Jr. (Rose) of Guntersville, Randall G. Bitner (Katherine) of State College and Robert T. Bitner (JoAnne) of Port St. She is also survived by four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
