With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Frank Porter (State College, Pennsylvania), born in Jersey Shore, Pennsylvania, who passed away on June 8, 2018 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Thomas Porter and Florence Tibbins; his siblings, Wilma Fowler and George Porter; his grandchildren, Britton Porter, Nick Groby and Logan Groby; his children, Scott Porter, Jamie Porter and Joy Porter; his spouse Joan Porter (Cousart); Master of Arts, Rob and Frank.
There will be a small service of family and close friends gathering to celebrate Frank's life on Thursday, June 14, 2018 at 6:00 pm at Unity Church of Jesus Christ, 2280 Commercial Blvd, State College . In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Lock Haven YMCA, 145 E. Water St., Lock Haven, Pa. 17745 . Please remember to notify the YMCA that your donation is in memory of Frank L. Porter.
