He is survived by: his parent Lizzie Mellott; his spouse Elsie Clark Mellott; his sons, Gerald A. Mellott, Susan, Galen J. Mellott, Cheyrl and Port Matilda; and his grandchildren, Franklin D. Mellott, Sheri, Boalsburg, Sherry D. Floyd, Patrick, Donald J. Mellott of Solano Beach, CA, Wendy D. Mellott of Placentia, CA, Timothy G. Mellott, Beth Ann, Amy S. Lui and Vinson.
