She is survived by: her husband Frank Caplan (Bill) of State College; her sister Patricia Swire of Rye Brook, NY.; her sons, Jim Caplan (Grace) of Chapel Hill, NC and Bill Caplan (Becky) of State College, PA.; her grandchildren, Ben Caplan, Jennifer Cordova, Chris Caplan and Katie Caplan; and her great grandchildren, Matt Caplan, Will Caplan and Rose Caplan.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and the Leukemia Society of America.
