It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Russell Paul Labarca (State College, Pennsylvania), born in Brooklyn, Pennsylvania, who passed away on March 16, 2019, at the age of 100, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph LaBarca and Angela LaLena LaBarca. He is survived by: his spouse Jean Earla Hyatt; his sons, Joseph E. LaBarca (Katherine) of Rochester, NY and Robert R. LaBarca (Cindy) of State College; his grandchildren, Irene Battaglia (Devon), Jean Lin (Steven), Russell LaBarca (Lauren) and Christy Klenke (Jeremy); and his half-sister Rose Jensen of New Jersey. He is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
