He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Verbeck and Elizabeth Verbeck (Ely); his mother-in-law Eleanor Jean Mosso; and his sister Mary Jane Verbeck. He is survived by: his spouse Linda D. Verbeck (Weaver); his children, DeAnn Marie Frances Patterson of State College and Darin E. Verbeck of State College; his grandchildren, Dominico N. Gordon of Harrisburg and Seth C. Patterson of State College; and his sisters, Louise Smith (Roland) of Philipsburg and Nancy Peterson (George) of Ridgeway, PA..
