She was predeceased by : her parents, David Baker and Eleanor Baker (Moon); her husband Homer G. Swarner; her son Terry L. Swarner; her son-in-law Mick Nelson; and her siblings, Charles M. Baker and Marion Hulse.

She is survived by : her children, Bryan Swarner (Joy), Lorie Nelson of Franklin and Debra Turner (Gary) of Nazareth, PA; and her brother David Umstead (Shirley) of Sandy Lake. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, six great-grandchildren.
