He was predeceased by : his parents, R. Nevin Hoffard and Kathryn Hoffert (Hoffard); his stepfather John Hoffert; his stepbrother Jack Hoffert; and his great grandchild Oliva.

He is survived by : his wife Ruth Hoffard (Zimmerman); his brother Barry Hoffard (Sue); his children, R. Jeffrey Hoffard (Judy), Joseph B. Hoffard (Sachi) and Jack K. Hoffard (Jeanne); his grandchildren, R. Nathan, Jennifer, Jessica, Kelly, Colin, Nikolai and Tatiana; and his great grandchildren, Benjamin, Gwenyth, Micah, Lewis, Jacob and Cole.

Contributions may be made to Hospice and Community Care, P.O. Box 4125, Lancaster, PA 17604-4125 in his memory.
