He was predeceased by: his wife Sara Alice Sears; his daughter Loretta Racine Sears; his sisters, Anna Mae Rohrbach and Hilda Orwick; and his parents, Mary Adeline Sutherland Sears and Joe Sears.
He is survived by: his sons, Randall (Robin) and Russell (Carol). He is also survived by five granddaughters, a step-granddaughter and four step-great-grandchildren.
