It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ernest A. Hitchcock of Strattanville, Pennsylvania, born in Yakima, Washington, who passed away on October 29, 2023, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Richard Hitchcock and Martha Hitchcock (Ruhnau); his former life partner Ruth Hitchcock; his wife Genevieve Hitchcock; his son Ernest Hitchcock Jr.; and his great grandchild Griffin L. Anderson.

He is survived by : his children, David L. Hitchcock of Dunlap, TN, Dale L. Hitchcock of Rio Rancho, NM and Patricia Heberling of Erie; and his sister Katherine Swor of Riverside, CA..

Memorial donations may be made to a local food bank.
