With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Albert Joseph Smeraldo III (Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania), born in Newark, New Jersey, who passed away on April 27, 2020 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert J Jr. Smeraldo and Margaret Smeraldo (Ruggiero); and his siblings, Joseph and Catherine. He is survived by: his wife Carol Ann Smeraldo (Fritz); his sons, Albert J. IV of Charlotte, NC, Michael R. (Marie) of Saylorsburg, PA, Mark (Kelli) of Saylorsburg and Tom (Emilio) of Warkworth, Ontario.; his grandchildren, Jennifer Sciacca (Salvatore), Heather Smeraldo (Ryan Aardewijn), Megan Harding (Chris), Mark Smeraldo Jr., Erin Smeraldo, Lauren Smeraldo, Albert Smeraldo V, Matthew, Marley Smeraldo-Ojeda and Shylo Smeraldo; his great grandchildren, Lucy Marie Sciacca and Finnegan Harding; and his siblings, Ann, Daniel, Peter, Margaret "Peggy", Marion and Edward. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
