He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernard Ball and Madia Ball (Hubbard); and his daughters, Patricia Shook and Janine Decker. He is survived by: his wife Mary (Rosell); his children, Barbara Wilson (Kim) of Millville, NJ and Bernard "Bernie" Ball; and his brother Giles Ball of Fredericksburg, VA. He is also survived by six grandchildren; several great grandchildren; and three great great grandchildren.
