He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick O. Gerstlauer and Dorothy Gerstlauer (Bossler). He is survived by: his spouse Jean Frances Gerstlauer (Miller); his children, Frederick W. Gerstlauer, Barbara J. Allen (Grant) of Stroudsburg, Janice Y. "Jen" Kresge of McMichaels and Sandra A. Possinger (Paul) of Blakeslee; his siblings, Stanley Gerstlauer (Ann), Harrison Gerstlauer (Shirley), Anna Muccio (John), Shirley McHare and Jeanne Best (Dennis); and his grandchildren, Tammy, William, Shane, Jessie, Stacey, Bobbie Jo and Daniel. He is also survived by eleven great grandchildren.
