She was predeceased by: her spouse Wayne L. Franks Sr.; her parents, Allen "Muff" Phillips and Margaret Canfield; her daughter Gail Ann Werkheiser; and her siblings, Robert Phillips, Ada Mae Sardegna and Nancy Canfield Preister.
She is survived by: her children, Wayne L. Franks Jr. (Nancy) of Stroudsburg, Donald L. Werkheiser of Mount Pocono and Jeffery Franks (Lina) of Swiftwater; her grandchildren, Karl R. Franks, Alexander L. Franks, Mary M. Johnson, Justin Franks, Jessica Franks and Julian Franks; her great grandchildren, Olivia, Emma and Jocelyn Johnson; and her sister Sharon Schoch of North Carolina. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
