With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John Cook Jr. (Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania), who passed away on November 1, 2019 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John W. Cook Sr. and Lillian Cook; his wife Mary E. Wassmer; his children, Debra Cook, James Cook and Joseph Mackawgy; his grandchild Angel Lagarde; and his siblings, Robert Cook and Lillian Decker.
He is survived by: his children, Edward Cook of Tafton, PA, Tommy John Cook of Reeders, PA and Lisa (Antione Lagarde) of Marrero, LA.; his sister Janiece Morse; and his grandchildren, John W. Cook IV, Carlye Peek, Nicky, Angelina, Nicole, Christopher, Victoria, Tesse, Zachary James, Hayley and Joey Mackawgy. He is also survived by great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews and cousins.
